to Providence Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)!

We are a community grounded in prayer and scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit. Listen to a recent sermon located on the right side of this page.

Our congregation is 200 years old and our worship is traditional but spirit filled. Come dressed as you are and journey with us in faith as we come to know God through Christ Jesus.  Celebrate communion with us each Sunday; ALL are welcome at the Lord’s Table.  Worship together as a family (rocking chairs are provided for families with infants) or use our nursery for your infants and toddlers. Children ages three and up are invited to learn the stories of the Bible through the hands-on story program, Children Worship and Wonder.

Membership at Providence is open to all who seek to follow Christ Jesus through transfer of membership, associate membership or by making a confession of faith. All forms of baptism are recognized at Providence as valid, and new believers are baptized by immersion.

Maundy Thursday, March  27th

Join us for a short worship at 7 PM to remember and participate in the Last Supper. We will all gather around one table to remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples. This service is very meaningful and provides context and therefore power to Easter and Resurrection.

Bring fresh flowers to church and help us transform the cross of crucifixion to a living Resurrection cross. A trumpet will sound and all will rejoice together singing, Christ the Lord is risen today!
